What it’s like at Lake Louise right now

With 7 feet of snow in the area, and daily highs around 3C, it’s definitely still winter in Lake Louise.  While all the meeting rooms are within the hotel, if you plan on getting fresh air or attending an off-site session, you might want to bring your winter gear!

Getting to the Chateau Lake Louise

If you are flying into Calgary, Brewsters offers a bus service to and from the Chateau – it is about 3 hours, so you may want to explore renting a car especially if you are with a group!

Mark McFadden

CWSAA is collecting funds to support the McFadden family in Golden, BC.  You can contribute in several ways:

  • A chair from Whistler Blackcomb (thanks Wayne Wiltse) will be auctioned off at the conference, with the funds going to the McFadden family.

  • Drop cash in the ‘ski boot’ collection pot at the CWSAA conference – located at the conference registration desk.   CWSAA will also take credit card donations at the registration desk.
  • Donate via cheque made out to CWSAA, referencing Mark McFadden fund.

Thank you to Pat Boyle for coordinating these fundrasing effots.
