The Duty Manager is responsible for the daily front desk operation of 250 condominium units, as well as supervision of Front Desk Agents, Night Auditors, Bellmen and Shuttle Drivers.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Overseeing daily front desk duties/activities at Central Mountain Check-In
Supervising front office staff, including Front Desk Agents, Night Auditors and Bellmen, to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times
Assisting with daily shift audits and ensuring audit accuracy
Troubleshooting all guest issues/problems, and determining and processing any compensation to guests (informing the Reservations Manager or General Manager about any major issues)
Maintaining open communication with other teams including Owner Relations, Groups, Housekeeping and Transport
Ensuring the correct procedures are followed for direct, wholesaler and group check-ins/check-outs
Ensuring all walk-in reservations adhere to Big White Central Reservations payment/cancellation policies
Making shuttle bookings, ensuring all required information is collected and shuttle schedules and policies are adhered to
Taking cash, credit card and debit card payments
Answering and assisting with all incoming telephone calls to the Central Mountain Check-In front desk
Ensuring accurate information is provided to all clients with respect to all Big White and Central Reservations products and services
Preparing a detailed daily end-of-shift email report
Assisting with the organization of front desk staff for all pre-season duties
Making initial counts of front desk floats
Developing a good understanding of village layout to be able to give directions to all units in the rental pool
Ensuring the front desk area is clean and tidy at all times, and that front desk staff have a clean and tidy appearance
Assisting with any other reasonable request made by a Central Reservations Manager.
Position requirements/skills:Staff supervision experience
High level of customer service
Complaint handling and resolution skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Professional
Ability to work under pressure
Training experience
Well-groomed
International driving license and a clean driving record
Physical demands:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time
