The opportunity

Our company has expanded our product portfolio and is looking for a hungry, ambitious, and competitive spirited individual to join our Sales team.  We're focused on business development in the resort destination market and looking for industry experience. In this role, you often bring a first human touch with prospective customers requiring a balance of adaptability, active listening, and curiosity to quickly discover opportunities and guide people towards appropriate solutions. You will balance qualifying leads, performing prospect research, and setting up demos with active outbound approaches to ideal target customers, blending inbound & outbound responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound inquiries & qualify prospects for demos with Account Executives
  • Lead outbound activities, with a focus on setting demos with qualified individuals
  • Research buyer insights, interests, personas, and pain points in support of our sales process and quality nurture
  • Increase awareness of IC Thrive by actively participating in online and offline communities (particularly LinkedIn, software review sites, and local events)
  • Evaluate sales tools against our sales approach and make recommendations to improve
  • Manage the sales content repository and ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible at the point of need
  • Research target customers and provide overview briefs covering competitive environment challenges to solve, and ways we can add value to prospective clients

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • You bring previous experience in sales or marketing
  • You have a knack for building rapport
  • You are social, love to build relationships, and look forward to opportunities to connect with new people
  • You are confident in Salesforce, HubSpot, or another CRM, and you live and die by your sales system
  • You are entrepreneurial and thrive in an evolving environment, especially one where you can push innovation
  • Experience with ABM approaches an asset
  • Working in the tourism industry (specifically resort destinations) is a big plus
