Position: Prep/Line Cooks
Department: Food & Beverage
Location: Fernie Alpine Resort
Reporting to: Manager on Duty

Fernie Alpine Resort is looking to fill the position of Prep Cook. Reporting to the manager on duty, the ideal candidate will have previous experience, be an energetic individual with willingness to learn new skills, have a positive attitude, be teamwork-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. •To ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
•Prepare food items according to resort F&B specifications
•Follow kitchen’s systems & principles
•Promote a safe, sanitized work environment, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, safety and food storage management
•Flexible, versatile, and thrive on working in a fast-paced environment
•Ensuring the highest level of service and guest experience
•Provide non-stop team work with your teammates and managers
•Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
•Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
•Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
•To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

•Previous cook and food preparation experience required
•Cook training certification an asset
•Food safe certification an asset, may be obtained upon hire
•Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and a positive attitude

Cirque Restaurant, Legends Mountain Eatery, Little Griz Takeout and Bear’s Den is offering full-time shifts. Role requires flexibility to meet varying business volumes.
