Wage: $37.00 per hour

The Millwright is responsible for installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to LLSR company standards and procedures. This position requires the Millwright to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment to ensure the day to day operations of LLSR run smoothly and efficiently.
-Experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment.
-Follow all safety standards during all work assignments & maintain work areas in a safe orderly fashion
-Vast experience of lift operations and maintenance
-Adhere to assembly and installation instructions set forth in vendor manuals and specifications.
-Identify and correct any problems found in machines, equipment, or processes in order to facilitate production.
-Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment.
-Repair any problems associated with new equipment.
-Fabricate new machine parts if original parts are missing or damaged.
-Ensure that safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed.
-Perform preventative maintenance once the machines and equipment are put into operation.
-Complete all paperwork as required.
-Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation.
-Other duties as assigned
-Certified Journeyperson – although 4yr Apprentices will be considered
-Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications
-Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
-Thorough knowledge of load bearing capabilities of the equipment to be installed, assembled, or disassembled.
-Passion for mountain culture and an outdoor enthusiast.
-Able to work outside in all weather conditions
-Adhere to OH&S responsibility and requirements
-Must possess accurate verbal and written communication skills.
-Good physical condition as this position requires some heavy lifting, standing for long periods
-Manual dexterity required to use hand and power tools
-Able to work supervised & unsupervised
-Able to prioritize tasks for efficiency
-Complete other tasks as assigned
-A three month probationary period applies
-A police background check, from your home country or province, will be required upon commencement of employment
-Knowledge of the Canadian Standards of the Z98 Code
-Previous work experience an asset
-A friendly and professional manner
-Strong knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures
-First aid certificate an asset
