Laundry Supervisors are responsible for the daily coordination of linens to be cleaned and delivered to multiple properties, inspecting linens to make sure they meet the core standards, and ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for all staff and guests.

*You must be available to work one week after the season has ended for shutdown.*

Duties and responsibilities include:

Assisting with training all laundry staff, as well as new housekeeping staff as required
Supervising laundry staff while they are performing their duties
Stocking and maintaining the laundry supply rooms
Delivering clean linen to the correct buildings, and picking up dirty laundry and garbage
Answering incoming calls and assisting Housekeepers with all relevant requests
Assisting with housekeeping when necessary
Conducting the daily morning meeting with laundry staff, and organizing all staff daily
Viewing all unit types in each building, and understanding the linen rooms
Understanding the mountain and Village layout, and being able to give directions to guests
Understanding all health and safety issues with regards to staff and self
Ensuring all staff are adhering to the Health & Safety protocols and wearing proper uniforms
Assisting with any other reasonable request made by a Central Reservations Manager

Physical demands:Must be in good physical condition as carrying laundry bags and heavy lifting is a major part of this position
Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
Back, slip and fall issues
Must be able to use all cleaning equipment (vacuum, mop, etc.)
Chemical use
High reaching
Might have to deal with threatening behavior from guests/staff
Wage:
$22.00/hr
