Job Description:

You are a detail oriented, reliable individual who will be responsible for the daily audit and handling of the resorts revenues. You will work closely with our revenue generating departments to ensure all records are accurate and recorded appropriately.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Audit and track all revenue collected within the resort.

·        Perform cash handling duties (including counting, balancing, placing and fulfilling coin orders, etc.).

·        Be an advocate for health and safety, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

·        Assist with any additional duties as assigned

·        Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

·        Prepare deposits for the bank.

·        Support the Accounts Receivable Administrator as required.

·        Preparing reports and invoices for resort revenue streams

·        Main and update Accounts Receivable files in a timely manner

·        Prepare regular and ad hoc departmental reports

·        Communicate procedures and answer receivables processing inquiries

·        Provide support to the Guest Experience Team as needed throughout winter and summer operations.

 

Qualifications:

Outstanding work ethic and positive attitude and must be willing to work odd hours, do manual labor.
Have previous experience with cash handling and reporting.
Knowledgeable with accounting systems – an asset.
Numerically savvy, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable and have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Previous experience in the resort, recreation, hotel, or tourism industry – an asset.
Ability to prioritize and follow-through. It is important to be able to prioritize projects, ask for direction when needed and follow through on the completion of tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to gather the necessary information to make decisions.
Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of service orientation
Excellent Microsoft Excel and written communication skills across different types of media including policies, reports, memos, and process documentation
Influential skills to work collaboratively across teams and departments
Willing to work a non-standard work week (to include partial weekends and evening hours.
