Reporting to the Sales & PR Manager, The Group Sales Supervisor manages a team of 3 Group Sales agents, working together to support group bookings, Special Events and coordination of tour operators. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week for RMSI-JTAC Equipment Holdings Ltd for both the Jasper SkyTram (summer) and Marmot Basin (winter).

Actively grow the group sales side of the business whilst also managing bookings from initial contact to follow-up. Coordinate with relevant internal departments and external companies to ensure all groups leave Marmot Basin and the Jasper SkyTram with a smile.

Key Responsibilities

Group Sales Account Management / Reservations

Manage and facilitate group bookings.
Addressing inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
Driving business through development and execution of sales campaigns.
Utilize POS system fully to sell on-mountain products.
Processing invoices, accounts, and billing.
Build relationships from booking to follow-up.
Administrative Coordination

Coordinate relevant information across departments
Maintain accurate records of all group bookings
Track sales and contacts using our CRM software.
Seasonal reporting and evaluations
Develop and maintain departmental procedures, manuals, and customer booking forms.
General office duties as required.
Leadership

Supervise 3 Group Sales Agents.
Provide training to other relevant teams.
Attend, contribute and conduct internal and external meetings.
Oversee all events and projected and budgeted visits to all departments.
Special Events

Support the Event Management team at Marmot Basin and the Jasper SkyTram.
This includes but is not limited to: Alpine Races and Training, Coordination of Film Shoots, Star Sessions, Town Activations, Parties and more!
Community Relations / Outreach

Meet and greets with Tour operators, Media, Influencers and VIPs.
Build relationships with locals such as volunteer patrollers, race coaches, Parks Canada employees and regular group leaders.
Assist Marketing in tradeshow and teacher convention attendance.

Ideally, you will have…

Business/Tourism related diploma or equivalent experience.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong customer service, sales, and negotiation skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Quick learner with basic technology skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Google software.
Eye for quality and attention to detail.
Experience in data management, financial administration, and report processing.
Goal-oriented self-starter with a high level of motivation
Team player – comfortable working in a small team and across different departments
Passion for the outdoors and mountain lifestyle.
