Responsibilities:

Point person for group bookings, including tour groups, school groups and race teams
Coordinate groups arriving in resort, including welcoming groups as they arrive and ensuring all guest touchpoints (tickets, rentals, snow sports school, activities, etc.) are delivered in a seamless manner
Assist groups in the rental area and ensure groups are delivered to the on-snow sports school coordinator
Maintain an excellent working relationship with guest services, snow sports school, rentals, F&B, patrol, lift operations, and the on-snow race coordinator and occasionally outdoor operations
Coordinate with the sales team at Sun Peaks Resort/Sun Peaks Grand (and other hotel accommodators) with respect to group bookings
Maintain expert knowledge of all resort offerings, including accommodation, dining, mountain activities and third-party operator activities
Maintain an accurate log of groups arriving in resort, with bi-weekly distribution to departments
Print off tickets for groups before arrival
Ensure all pre-filled documents are received and sent to rentals and snow sports school
Input group orders into RTP and email invoices to groups prior to arrival
Responsible for updating RTP group products on an annual basis
Assist with any walk-in groups
Post visit telephone follow up with group leaders to ensure groups were satisfied with their experience and to secure repeat bookings

Qualifications Required:

3 – 5 years experience in a supervisory role
Post-secondary education; business administration, or equivalent experience an asset
Outstanding interpersonal and motivational skills
Outstanding computers skills; P.O.S. systems, Microsoft computer systems, electronic business systems
Outstanding cash handling skills; sales transaction reconciliation, daily cash outs
Excellent communication skills
Highly organized, accurate and detail oriented
Proven track record in guest services and as a team player
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Good working knowledge of current WorkSafeBC standards
