Ski Industry Performance

Global BC TV visited Vancouver’s North Shore mountains and asked CWSAA about ski industry performance. 2007/08 remains the benchmark year in Canada for skier visits because all the weather and market variables aligned across the country.  These include factors such as snow, temperature, school holiday alignment with the calendar, and weather during key holiday periods.  Plus we are impacted by currency exchange, state of the economy, cost of air and access, highways, and more.
