The Lift Safety Bootcamp is an interactive, hands-on workshop designed for lift operations, risk management, and supervisory staff. Through facilitated discussion, group exercises, and practical scenarios, participants will explore key topics including passenger mazing, loading and unloading ramps, signage, incident prevention, and unseated passenger planning across a variety of lift types, from surface lifts to aerial chairlifts.
Adapted for Canadian ski area operations from the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) Lift Safety Boot Camp, this workshop emphasizes practical application, peer learning, and sharing operational experience. Participants will leave with ideas and tools they can apply at their own ski area to help strengthen lift safety practices.

An optional Lift Safety Bootcamp will be offered at Hart Highlands on October 21 (the day after the Northern BC Meeting).
